This is actually quite old, but I figured I'd post it since the US version of HeartGold and SoulSilver just came out.

Thesis

Character designs pour Thesis: Genghis Khan, Rasputin, and Florence Nightingale.

Midterm crits went... well, I guess. I don't know. People seemed to be OK with it. I think doing the individual pin-up poses will help flesh out their personalities even more. Probably going to do those in a more "Asian" coloring style since I had imagined the target audience to be more into BlazBlue than Mortal Kombat.

I am exhausted. I should quite bitching and moaning. Thank god for spring break.

After sleeping to my absolute limit and running out of tv shows to watch, I've gone back to drawing on the tablet to kill some time. SERIOUS cabin fever right now.
As much as I would really like it if the snow just melted away, I think they should just go ahead and cancel Friday classes. I'm not looking forward to doing a 4ft drawing of a tower of objects (which means I have to get the damn paper tomorrow at Utrecht)

Testing out the new tablet pen after the sudden sad death of the old one. I had just gotten that pen a year or so ago. What a bitch.
I wish I could find some sort of middle ground between the painterly look and the inks+coloring look.

球体関節人形には乙女のロマンが詰まってると思う。
怖いけど綺麗、不気味だけど惹かれるものが何かある。
女の子は人形を自分の分身として遊ぶ気がする。
最後に人形を買ったのなんていつだろうか。
母親からではなく、自分のお金では今まで一度もないかもしれない。

大学が始まって三日、とりあえず新生活は順調かな？
思った以上に犬猫と過ごす事に癒しを感じる。
昔は断然犬派だったけど、いつのまにか猫好きになっていた。あのツンデレな所がいい。
卒製のプレゼンに少し不安がある。というかまだ完全に出来上がってない。木曜日の朝に発表なのにいいのか自分…　明日は早起きして少し進めてみたいと思うけど、こんな時に限って徹夜でお絵描きしたくなるのってどうにかならないかな…
